Then that is a factory dually bed out on your truck. Another way to tell for certain is the fenders. Is there an flat flip to screw wheel well trim to or is there no lip?

Thanks. I am putting a uhaul box on mine and would like a little more width. I have a dually axle too but don't know which one is wider hub face to hub face. I thought I read where the dually axle is narrower. I want to stick with SRW. I know I would have to change the spring pads, the axle is from a C&C.

Dually PICKUP axle is 6" wider than the SRW. and a cab-n-chassis axle is...... IIRC 3" wider than SRW BUT the perches are 4" narrower due to the narrower frame on the cab-n-chassis. If you have a Dually Pickup axle, there would be no doubt that is how I would go about it

Yes, The box floor is 10 feet. I will build a section that extends the frame and holds the rear winch. The subframe that will attach the box to the chassis will go the full length of the frame & help tie the new section in.

Does that mean you did have a roll issue that you resolved or an issue you knew beforehand and addressed it during your installation?
I am thinking of going to a heim front end and am looking at a different layout that puts the drag link from the pitman arm connecting to the top of the drag link or the knuckle end.

So you think you are just going to lengthen the BACK of the frame? Not cut and section in a 2' piece?

No, not really. All the heavy items like the water tank, (actually that's about it) are mounted between the axles. When I haul a motorcycle it will be inside sitting right over the rear axle. The back of the box will be empty and the rear extension will be tied into the length of the frame. The box is made of FRP and aluminum and it's only 24 inches. I don't plan on towing anything with much tongue weight.
