That bumper was made for the "Turtle expedition IV" vehicles. They traveled around the world. Only a handful were made and my buddy found it at a local junk yard, got it, blew up his truck engine, put it onto an international harvester truck, took it off and put it in storage for 4 years, and gave it to me. It has tool boxes built in. I have jumper cables and winch stuff in them.
The new baby! Josh, it's just too pretty for all that dirt.
Heh, we both tend to get pretty dirty, but we clean up well
I think yesterday was his first day of rest! Today will be another as I'm too sore to do anything else. Allergies are mopping the floor with me too. Never had them til I moved here, and I've lived and traveled around the world (including Texas in the mid-2000s).
At any rate, now I'm always on the lookout for other crew cabs when I'm out and about, hehe.

Haha! I bet you do.
That sucks about the allergies. I just started allergy-ish problems but I've never had an allergy in my life. And I didn't move anywhere haha. Hope you find something that helps! Enjoy your new toy.
Truck has completely changed since my last post here.
That front bumper conversion looks really nice. I bet the addition of fog lights is handy in the right weather!

Yeah, I've been going back and forth between all brands of stuff, because eventually they stop working and I need to switch it up.
Thanks! I'm thinking about doing a 2017 super duty bumper now. The bumper I have on it now is from a 2015 f150 and I had to chop it and spread it open.
I'm planning on running a bullnose clip in the future, so I'll be using my welding skills to fab up a replacement for my Ranch Hand bumper. I could probably fit it if I trimmed the bullnose fenders up, but I'd rather not!
Also wanting to score a bricknose tailgate with the raised Ford lettering for a more classic look.

Such a pretty truck to nip and tuck but I'm excited to see those skills!

The clip is pretty much a bolt-on deal, only the lower fender mount on the bullnose fenders themselves need to be modified. Nothing changes on the truck! Since I'm building my own bumper, I don't need to worry about fabricating brackets for the bullnose bumper either. The OBS clip goes into climate controlled storage!
As it stands, crew cab bullnoses are rare in good shape, and I wanted the 7.3 Powerstroke over the early IDI 7.3 or the 6.9. Swapping a 7.3 into an older bullnose would end up costing me more than simply doing a clip swap, heh.
Don't get me wrong, I love the OBS front, but something about the bullnose just screams classic Ford truck to me. I've always been partial to the more squarebody bodystyles. That's why I love the '73-79 Chevy/GMC trucks. That squared, round-eyed nose just looks classic without looking dated.
