Does anyone know of a LARGER version of the FL1A?
My '96 F350 crew dually 4x4 has a 460, she's up for an oil change soon.
I hate the idea of putting the same capacity oil filter on my 7.5 as my wifes 3.6 mini van.
Is there a larger capacity version made by a decent brand? K&N, Motorcraft, Wix, Purolator, ect.
If you want more Capacity, put a remote duel filter setup on. That is what i went with on my pulling truck. I mounted them under the fan. The fan is constantly blowing air on them so not only did I gain an extra quart by adding a second filter, I also now have an engine oil cooler
Another Brick nose. Looks great. I wonder if we have a brick nose picture thread already started. I might have to see if that's in the archives somewhere. Is that a custom built Flatbed Greg? That cab looks like it was built for that chassis.
Geniusloerts,
Great interior change out. Where are you located, I could take those old seats of your hands if your not too far away. Really like the electric key pad. How hard was it to wire up? I assume you already had electric locks on that truck?
I'm in North West Arkansas. The Key pad isn't too bad to do. you pretty much have signal wires from the control box to relays that tie in with the lock harness in the drivers door. the hardest part is spicing the harness down to size. I have a progress thread of for the truck that talks about it some on here and the OB site. The truck did have electric locks from the factory.

?
Yes I built the flatbed and headache rack, and trhe entire floor is all scratch made for the cab.
