Yes they went to the scrap yard. It was a bare bones work truck (plow truck) so it had manual windows, non-tilt column, tons of rust, etc....... I had a ad on here and craigslist but no one wanted any of what was left.
I will be joining the crew cab club in a couple weeks when I pick up my "new to me" 96 F350 XLT CC 4x4 with a 7.3L. Has 266k on the clock and is pretty clean for the year. No pic on my phone or I would post one lol.
-Dana 60 added w PMF 2.25" RSK, V code SD springs, and factory front sway bar
-Rear dually axle added, SD B code rear springs, AirLift air bags and factory rear sway bar
Curious question, Brad. Did you use a different block for the "B" code rear springs, and how much overall lift did this give, approximately?
I'm considering the same RSK and V/X code springs up front for my CCLB as it's a 7.3L PSD.

Yes, I used 5" Ready Lift block kit for a SuperDuty. I HIGHLY recommend U or D codes instead of V codes for a better ride.
X codes are the Heaviest spring available. They are snow plow prep springs and the standard f450/F550 springs . Also ride like CRAP.
Also, remember a SuperDuty crewacb diesel weighs about 8600lbs.
And OBS crewcab diesel weighs about 7400lbs.
So there is NO need for as heavy as a spring

Thanks for the info. I hadn't considered the difference in weights of the two trucks but my mind automatically went to assuming the OBS diesel would be heavier than a newer similar truck.

Found this sitting outside the movie theater in Redlands the only night I didn't drive my crew. Nice truck flush mount tool box 5th wheel plate. Rsk with neg. Arch springs pretty clean truck.
