I wouldn't add a single thing to the outside of that truck, looks perfect the way it is. I don't know, maybe its a southern California thing, but less is more and we usually take everything that is stuck on a truck off. If there were'nt holes behind my F350 badges they'd be gone too. It's even a little difficult for me to live with the trim stripe on mine.

I'm with Cman1120, I'd be removing ALL that stuff.

But there again, it's your truck... if you keep it long enough I hope you don't regret what you do to a car in your youth. I'm sure there are plenty of guys here that can tell you stories about a 454ss chevelle or hemi cuda they pissed away. Oh and by the way, that's a good looking truck!

Not just a SoCal thing, it's a tasteful thing.

I live in Southern RI, we have a variety of trucks ranging from cheeched out, to redneck engineered, to simple and tasteful. I'll take simple.

I like clean, but I like factory. What really gets my attention is what I call "factory custom". Centurion had a well done factory custom look.

^Sorta like, it could just as well have come form the factory that way it was so well done.

I agree with you.

1987 F350 Crew Cab

Here is my 1987 F350 crew cab. Just got lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when the owner was selling it a few months ago. He did a helluva job keeping it in the condition it's in.

This is a Custom, so literally everything is manual which I love. 4 speed...basically a 3 speed when you're not towing or hauling as you can start in 2nd gear. 460 carb that gets a whopping 9mpg..thank goodness it's not my daily driver, but it does get it's fair share of attention every week. 4" body lift w/ 35" tires and 16.5" wheels. Airbags were already there, trailer brake controller just installed, new stereo/speakers just installed and she's good to go for while. Runs great!

Again, love the truck. Clean rust free 4x4 trucks are a rare thing around here. The crew cab is a big plus. Good luck to you with your new rig!

Are there no 4" body lift kits? I was just told it was 4" from the previous owner. Good to know...thanks.

I would look into a 4" suspension kit and ditch the body lift. Your truck will be just a tad bit taller but a lot better looking. And safer.

I would choose suspension over body lift any day. Been thinking about that so we'll see if there is a chance to pull the trigger some day. Realistically I'm probably stuck with the body lift for awhile, but that aint no complaint.

I'm not knocking your truck just something to think about. When you get ready check out the BDS KIT
