Michael
Thats great of you Michael, that deserves some reps. Bummer, tried but I am in rep jail. I will get you in the future when I can.
On another thought, are you taking the stock spare alternator on your trip up north in case this one quits again?

I don't think it will just quit, keep in mind they were having issues with the top model (the one that failed twice). The 270 has already been proven so I don't anticipate problems.

We are in December, sorry to say David but you have by far the worst customer service in any industry I've ever done business with period. There is no reason for these delays unless you are out of business or on your way out. If you treat your vendors like this I'm sure you will be out of business soon.
This opportunity you had to take care of a pocket change exchange and refund ( that I offered to someone here as a gift ) was just too easy. It was your chance to gain some respect from the FTE members that question the ability that DC Power can do anything right. Well you screwed that up, good luck to you and the crap you call a company. Please don't have the ***** in contacting me in anyway. Your word is crap!

I've followed this thread closely and I agree that it's had a very disappointing result. It sucks to have what's obviously a decent product but not enough company support to back it up. If it wasn't for Ed, I'm not sure where I'd shop for an alternator.....
My company has in fact contacted Living Large to get him back the actual difference between what he paid for the alternator from the retailer and what we charged the retailer for the alternator. If that makes me a "Crap" company its not for the lack of trying. I will however donate $200.00 to LivingLarge's friend if LivingLarge would be so kind as to have him contact us on Monday. I Hope the Xp alternator give you years of reliable service. I will be following up on this on monday.
