That would be cool! But, how do you get the DeLorean in there? Might make a good movie.
On another topic related to the engine, I've realized that I forgot to include the flywheel in the crate. I'd already had that one surfaced and a new ring gear put on. But, it is still only drilled for the 351M pressure plate, which means I have to run just the right 460 clutch and the Dodge throw out bearing. So, I think I'll ask Tim to include his flywheel, which is drilled to take the 460 pressure plate. That way I can use a 460 clutch set, so I won't have to piece anything together.

Yes! That's one area I was concerned about handing off to my kids/grandkids. A 351M pressure plate, a specific 460 clutch since only it fits under the pressure plate, and a specific Dodge throw out bearing. Not something easily replicated, and would require good documentation. This way any 460 clutch set will work.

Minor change in plans. Tim doesn't have a core flywheel, so I'll ship him mine and he'll drill it for the 460 clutch. Plus, the engine was balanced, in theory, to that flywheel so he won't have to rebalance.
Also, he said the engine came in last week. The good news I won the packaging competition. In fact, I blew the competition away. Everything made it with zero problems.
The bad news is that the machine shop that did the work in Tulsa didn't follow Tim's written instructions that were with the cam bearings and installed them incorrectly. But, if that's the worst news I get I'll be a happy camper. Cam bearings aren't expensive, and that's one of the reasons I wanted Tim to do the work - he knows what is required to get good oil pressure on these engines.
Last, for today, he's going to machine the block for a one-piece oil seal. Better sealing and less chance for errors.
