Got the dizzy body powder coated today with Eastwood's Blasted Aluminum - the same as used on several other parts, like the alternator, P/S pump, and several brackets. I'll ship it off to Tim or DUI ASAP, once Tim advises where it should go.
And, here 'tis. Note that I didn't coat anything that needs to be a given dimension, any of the threaded holes, or the inside of the body.

Very nice job Gary!
It's all these little details that really make 'Dad's Truck' (and related threads) stand out as epic here on FTE.

Very nice, Gary! I like that better than the very shiny [almost chrome like] body as delivered to you.

Wow...very nice indeed! I'm afraid it will take the eyes away from the rest of your purdy engine.

Here's one of the videos I shot while the engine for Dad's truck was being dyno'd. I'm going to put up more pictures and videos on my web site and will share links to them here.

Sounds good!
BTW, I don't think I ever read what the true CID of the engine was?

I've been away too long, I had to catch up on this thread. Amazing work as always Gary! Everything looks phenomenal. From the look of that dyno video, you're gonna be well known at the tire shop

Brad - You have been away a long time. Welcome back, Kotter.
And, thanks. My goal was to have lots of torque at low RPM, and I accomplished that.

I've added more videos of the dyno pulls on my web site here:
Engine - ???Gary's Garagemahal . And, there's a pic of it on the dyno down below.
And, here's the status: First, Tim is keeping the engine for a bit to finalize a few things:
Get the distributor I powder coated back from the other company, add the proper curve, and run it on the dyno to ensure it works well
Add a mechanical fuel pump and plumb an OE-style line from it to the carb with steel tubing.
Install the correct sized heater hose barbs in the water pump - once I figure out what size they should be.
Also, I'm going to ask Tim to have Cory do a dyno pull from as low of RPM as he thinks is safe as I'd like to see what it does down around 2000 R's.
