I'm still debating how much i like the look though, I'm still not a huge fan of how they look but the output is great!

Everything stock with a chrome shroud.

Current front end.

I know i love the way they look right now but they are leaking from somewhere so i will need to pull them apart and reseal them soon. I figured since they are apart and my light output isn't the greatest not to mention i blind people from time to time even though i adjusted the lights down that is might be a good opportunity to upgrade the lights as well.

Love the truck looks great!

I just saw one of those bush guard bumper things on Craigslist yesterday and debating buying it. Had two lights on it as well. Guy wanted $150 - If I didn't just spend a fortune for Xmas, I would have bought it for sure, but it has sold already.

Love the headlight swap - is this pretty simple to do? Been seriously debating doing that - need a new stereo first though, stock "tape" deck has serious issues, the least of which is having a tape deck!!

I love all the other mods you have done. My truck cost me $3000 and was bought as a "beater" for hauling dirt etc - luckily it is is in near perfect condition both mechanically and aesthetically! Just some minor imperfections, but for $3k I couldn't complain at all.

(For those who are wondering Vehicles are WAY more expensive in Canada vs the US. I have seen identical trucks for sale several times for around $7000 CDN, so when I saw mine for $3000 I could not pass on it!!)

Thanks scott! it is actually simple to do the headlights, if you plan at all to do the 05 front end i would justdo it all at once. All you need to do is dremel out some of the 99-04 header panel and the lights will screw right in and then you either need to get 9007-9008 adapters or get some 9008 (H13) pigtails and solder them in place of the 9007 connector.

Matt I like the look of that all black housing but im not sure how bright the running marker lights will be with that paint. And it would suck to get hit because someone couldn't tell I was turning. And it looks odd with half one way and halfthe other way

I completely agree with you on that one i wouldn't do half and half because it looks goofy IMO and i would hate to have a turn signal that doesnt work right. I think i will most likely end up going with the same exact set up as you. I think I'm going to get the DS2 kit though and the Apollo 3.0 shrouds and maybe some amber halos to hook up as parking lights, is that how your withe ones are hooked up?

Yeah they're hooked up with the marker lights.

OK, one last question about them, after you install them and tighten down the nut, how to you adjust them left to right and up and down? I'm assuming that you cant go let and right because the 05+ lights are set so they can only adjust up and down.

There is no left and right. Its just up and down. The left and right is just from how you mount it.

Does it go based off the original turn screw in the housing or are there screws on the back of the projector where the bulb mounts? sorry I'm peppering you I've been looking for this info for a little while lol.
