I technically have to get a CR but I plan to do a 12 because there are ways around that law. I have also been looking into destroked and I have the Ford Cummins manual but only glanced through it so far. I won't ever sell this truck so it would eventually pay for itself one day.

I'm considering this to when my motor goes. I would technically need a 24v and because it's relatively easy will think about pursuing that option. I know with the 4r100 it makes it even easier.

Could PPump the 24 valve and drop the Vp44 pump to avoid the problems. Though I think the lift pump needs to be replaced.

How can you go around those emissions laws? I know move to another state or county that doesn't have them but what else is there?

There's ways of registering it differently but I'm not sure how it's done. I've only heard from a person who heard it from a person etc... plus a kid I know that goes to school has a bunch of friends that have done Cummins and other motor swaps that aren't technically legal but he gets them stickers.

P-pumped 24v's are awesome btw, don't get great mileage though lol. I wanna max out my mileage while trying to hit 400hp. Hoping I could get like 22ish would love 25+ though.

Thanks!, I had the bottom half part of the truck painted black when i had it repainted while the body shop was replacing my bed sides. Same as the factory grey/black two tone.

Matt that truck is looking great already.

I have a harvest gold CC and wood like to go dark brown lower 2 tone. Maybe even wrap up over the wheels like the new rigs.

do you know the offset or the back spacing on your rims? i love the stance. i bought some 18x9 centerlines used but all i know is it has got a 4 1/2 inch back spacing, i havent put tires on them yet but i was looking at the same size trail grapplers u have, and would like a stance similiar to yours. also my 01 also has a 3 inch lift is there any rubbing issues with that combo?

beautiful truck btw

Hey, Monte, I tried to PM you, but your box is full.

When you change out the steering wheels, would you be willing to sell the cruise control switches out of the old one? I have one busted.

Thanks!, no rubbing issues, the offset is -12mm with 4.53 backspacing, offset and backspacing are the same thing it just depends on which side of the rim you are referring too.

Duratracs are awesome tires. Had them for a little over a year now. Great in the snow. I am just hoping I get 40,000 miles out of them. Not looking good though.

I think I've been convinced lol I would probably get about 8 years out of each set of tires I figure because I only use them for half the year then I switch them out. That's saying each set goes 40k before changing
