Later on in the Spring or Summer I'm gonna build another collector and up pipes, but this time do them like the Turbonetics kit like I wanted to before. I have the 2" v-band flanges to do it.
Now your making me wish I had gotten bigger injectors, LOL I'll see how it goes this summer, especially with a toad on my ***!
You won't even notice the toad except for your camera you will be putting on! With all the exhaust leaks fixed I think you will be extremely happy with your setup as is Glenn.
Well, I've been driving the truck to and from work since Tuesday, and everything has been fine with it until yesterday morning. It was -4* when I left for work yesterday morning and a few miles down the road I started losing fuel pressure. If I lifted off the pedal, it would come back up a little, but then drop right back down as soon as I started to accelerate. I figured out the fuel was gelling in my filters. The fuel in both my tanks has been in there since the clutch broke and I started the build on it in late August/early Sept., so I'm sure it is not any kind of winter blend fuel, and even though I use Power Service on every fill up, what was in there was the silver bottle, which I run in the summer, not the white bottle with the anti-gelling additives. The fuel psi would drop all the way to 0 psi and the truck would start cutting out as the injectors were starving, so I would pull over and let it idle until the fuel psi would come back up some. then I would drive a couple miles and do this again. When I finally got to work, I put the truck inside the shop and in the heat so it would all warm up. Everything was fine after that, except now it seems like I have a slight miss it.....almost exactly what my other truck was doing . When I put the engine back in it last weekend and drove it, it was running smooth as can be. I would rev it from idle to 3000 rpms and it was so smooth I even commented about it to Tyler how smooth it would rev throughout the rpm range. Now, when I rev it from idle to 3000 rpms, it stutters all the way through, kinda like when you have bad injector o-rings I am hoping it is just air. I noticed it when I drove it home yesterday, and this morning I went to the post office, and it is still doing it.
I think you'll be fine. Just get some winter fuel, white power service and run the hell out of it. That is of course if your clutch is broke in. You're certainly due for a break!

That's the plan. And you know as well as I do I can't ever get a break
Bill, you might want to try the red bottle Diesel 911 with the fuel you still have in your tanks. It is some amasing stuff. You aren't susposed to use it as an anti-gel, but it sure works to get gelled/waxed fuel to reliquidfy.

Thanks Tom. I had to run to town after work yesterday and I stopped at Advance Auto Parts (the only parts store in that town) to get a bottle of the 911, and they were out. After I let it sit inside at work all day yesterday, it was fine. I have already used up the front tank, and almost all of the rear tank, so I'll just fill both up and give them a dose of Power Service in the white bottle.
