Its gonna look like a totally different truck. Were you gonna paint it befor you put the bed on? Maybe a spray in bed liner too. Top it all off with some led lights.....

The bed is already red Gabe, but it will need to be painted before RRE. There won't be money for a spray in liner for a while, and I am going to build a headache rack and put lights in like the flat bed has. I may put LED bulbs in the tail lights on the bed and LED lights in the headache rack.

You gonna paint it Bill, or you gonna hire it done? The more and more I think about it I think I'm gonna paint my own next winter. Not sure yet, but I'm leaning that way. I have a feeling an estimate to paint just the box is going to push me more that way.

I think it's gonna look pretty good after I get a headache rack built and my tool box on it. I have a visor that goes over the windshield on one of the parts trucks. I might paint it at the same time and put it on too.

I'm trading it for a rust free dually bed. I will kinda miss it too a little.

What's wrong with a visor, Travis? I like the Lund sun visor, not so much the moon visor with the lights.

I agree. Nothing wrong with the visor. Mine is one with lights on it and I like it quite a bit. It was on it when I bought it. My opinion of course.

I like your plan Bill. It should look real good! I may try and do mine this summer, we'll see if I can make time. If I do it in the summer the shop can be empty for the most part. Winter time its always busier in there, race cars are in there out of the cold. I just don't know how long it will take, and I usually don't go more than 3 weeks between races.
