Longer won't help. You need a drop pitman arm and a drop bracket for the pan hard bar. You have a 5 inch lift now

Guess you never know unless you are the original owner... Are you replacing with original mount? Or now that you have all the parts are you staying with your super lift? Thanks, wrxin for the pics. Reps sent.

What is a pan hard bar?? Ill measure the blocks when I go to pickup the truck. My guy said it sits almost level. Maybe 1-2 inches higher in the front.

I'm gonna leave the front brackets and probably get the extended rears now that I've basically built a custom lift. Always wanted to fit 35's or 37's.

The level thing doesn't make any sense to me. Your car looks level in the picture of what the car looked like when you bought it before you started all. Now you supposedly have a 5-6" lift (given all the issues with the track bar and pitman arm and shocks) and you're saying its only 1-2" higher in the front?

Do you have before and after measurements of the height?

Nope. It was level when I bought it 6 years ago. It was squatting when I decided to do x codes. My bump stops were all chewed up.

What rockcrawler is trying to say is that longer bars (pitman and track) are not the only thing you need. You need to keep the track bar and pitman arm aligned (see my pics) or you will have terrible bump steer. You've raised the car up enough that the two bars will no longer be lined up and simply making them longer won't bring them back into alignment.

You might actually longer bars than your old stock one but shorter than the ones you just purchased once you get the proper drop brackets.

Actually, he's probably only 2-3 inches higher than when started. That would be the gain of the X code... Total now with leveling kit and x codes probably in the 5 inch range.
