I just measured my front stock shackles (whatever the brackets are called at the rear of the front springs). They are 5" center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole.

I forgot the front end of the front springs just bolts to the frame, duh! So ignore my earlier question.

I have 1" of space between the springs and bump stops. That's with original stock springs under full weight of the car.

I have some pics I'll post shortly. Perhaps some pics of the stock front suspension will help.

If you get a drop pitman arm you will also have to get a drop bracket for the track bar other wise you will get massive bump steer. The steering and track bar should be at the same angle. Your bump stops are not the stock ones or at least different then the ones i have. mine are much larger. What is the measurement from the bottom of the frame to the area where the bump stop hits? Nothing looks out of place from the pictures

The front shackles are 6 3/4 inches. That's from the bottom of the frame to the bolt hole. Is that stock?

As promised, just some boring pics of my stock front suspension. Might help with how to align things like the pitman arm and track bar.

That does not look anything like mine. Remember way earlier in this thread when I questioned your tire size combined with your "stock" suspension. To my untrained eye, a PO added a kit to the front to raise it up to fit the tires. That could be your whole issue.

Holy crap that is higher than stock! Even the back looks higher.

If you had posted that picture first, we'd all know what was going on.

The PO obviously raised up the car to accommodate the larger tires. That makes sense to me because when you said it had 35" tires and stock suspension I was suspicious...

You're going to want to investigate how the rear was raised too. Are there blocks or something?

In the mean time, you're need some stock front brackets for your springs I think if you want to have the "normal" lift from x-code springs or just keep going with the pitman arm stuff, the new shocks, and the adjustable track bar.

Truck is all back together. Drove it. Was really bouncy cause its missing shocks in the front. Pitman arm needs to be a tad longer. Won't turn all the way to the right. Steering rod hits the passenger leaf spring.
