Do yourself a favor, measure from center of hub to bottom of fender. Compare that to a stock ex, that will give you your exact gains.

Just FYI, before you start your next thread... I have a 5in lift and had to trim a little off my wheel well cause my 35's rubbed a bit. 325/60/20

Bump steer is where you hit a bump and the car turns like you turned the wheel even when you keep the wheel strait.

This gets into complicated steering geometry but basically if one of your front wheels hits a bump and things under the car are not aligned correctly, the bump causes an unintended "steering action" where the wheel will steer the car without any steering input from you. It makes the car unstable and a handful to keep under control.

So I need a drop bracket for the trac bar and the pitman arm. I've never heard of a drop bracket for the pitman arm. I have heard of a drop pitman arm.

Only drop pitman arm I could find was a 4-8 inch drop. I'm guessing that will work. As for drop trac bar brackets, any particular company?

What the heck! Why didn't you tell us it had already been lifted? That explains so freaking much!

Stock? That Ex looks to be sitting higher than one that has had the X code mod done to it.

No friggen wonder he's been having problems.

The fabtech lift I had on my super duty was nice because it had multiple options for the 5.5 lift and 8. What ever option you go I would get both pitman arm and drop bracket from the same company for the same lift.

3. Something is out of whack with your front end.

4. Your mechanic is doing something wrong.

5. You aren't starting with a stock 4x4 suspension, and are modding one that's already been modded.
I just thought I'd add number 5 to the list....

I didn't know it had a lift. The woman I bought if from told me the mods she did. A lift wasn't one of them. Unless it was dealer installed when she bought it new? I have all the paperwork and receipts since the day she bought it. There wasn't a receipt for a lift.
