Truck is at the shop having the ball joints changed and x codes swap done. My guy just called me and said the truck sits so high that the shocks won't bolt back in and the track bar that goes from the frame to the axle is 5 inches too short. What do I have to do to make this fit? I don't want to tell him to put the stock **** back in.
Ok he's got the track bar on but he had to put all the weight of the truck on the ground and pull the axle over 4 inches from center with a comealong. Just to get it to fit. But my shocks are still too short.

OEM 4x4 Excursion shocks would be serviceable with a V code upgrade, although it is recommended you replace them with a set of shocks made for a 4x4 F250. With X codes, you will definitely need to replace the Excursion front shocks.
Get a cheap set of OEM replacements for a 4x4 F250 from your local auto parts store to get you back on the road. Then get a good set of front shocks for your rig, if you aren't happy with the cheapies you had to put on there.

Your mechanic sucks! You hook to the frame and leaf spring. Going to have to get a new bracket. Do you have a 5.4? That might explain the big differance from you and others with these leafs. Might have to get a adjustable track bar
