Bleed ford until hpfp failure

Still sounds high to me. Does anyone have a breakdown of hours / labor vs parts? I only ask because if it was to ever happen to me I could see doing it myself.
He is so far beyond what the Customer Service people can do he is in the next County. Once that typical crook of a Ford dealer flagged his VIN for that repair...he was toast...BTDT
My bill was $10,030.00. The repair was at a dealership who does not flat rate his techs. His labor rate is $20.00 an hour less than the other Ford dealer in town. His techs are the best around...between the 3 diesel techs they have over 90 years experience...at that dealership.
I believe the $9600.00 bill...but it is the lowest number I have seen. The "doing it myself" thoughts are made very difficult by the process Ford makes the dealer follow to apply for warranty coverage. By the time the dealer gets an answer to the warranty question, he will have a big bill ran up that the customer is on the hook for when warranty is denied. Then, after you pull it out of his shop, he will flag the VIN with an unfinished major repair. If the repair is completed anywhere but a Ford dealership, bye bye warranty...keep in mind though...not a big loss when Ford will not honor it's obligations anyway...
When my HPFP destroyed utself, and warranty was denied, Paul Bruckner, a 6.7 Design Engineer who posted here, sent me a detailed personal email describing how he would fix the truck after the denial. The process would have saved some serious money but left me wide open for injector issues and other problems he said I might have to work out a cylinder at a time.
It would have been so much easier if Ford had done the right thing to begin with...
Regards

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Ford will deny warranty claims whenever they can. I'm so glad I didn't buy the new EB or this new 6.7.
I would have parked the truck out front of the dealership with a big 4'x8' sign in the bed saying
"Ford will not honor their warranties. Do not buy a Ford and what ever you do "DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP"
This Dealership has the worst customer service."
I'd sit in the vehicle on weekends and honk the horn to get everyone's attention.
Believe me this will get their attention quickly.

Told them it's spring break, and I worked all winter... I got nothing but time and money.

I also wouldn't mind hearing more about the process Paul Bruckner described to you.
