Oh, it gets to suck at about 1/2 way through it. Then the problem is, if you don't stay on track after its done, you return to the same weight as before.
Yeah, The thing is, to get a mindset, that we eat to survive, not eat to feel full.
when you are starving, and you see a fridge full of food, do you say to yourself, I am going to eat until I am full? Or do you say I am going to eat until I am no longer hungry? Or do you get in the mind set that I am going to eat just enough to kill the hunger pain, and tell yourself, I can live off of what I just ate, ignore the pain.
Hunter/ gathers may have not known where their next meal was going to be so they may have eaten until they were full, but in the world of fast food, as soon as you are hungry, you see a McDonalds, or a Quick Shop with hot dogs, and you can have your food immediately.
I have really tried hard lately to adjust my mindset-- no more big honkin cheese burgers with chilli cheese fries and bacon-- now for lunch if I go somewhere with the guys I order a hamburger no fries- no ketchup (sugar) and a large ice tea, or maybe just 1 taco.. I also have 2 hard boiled eggs (or the eggy muffins my wife makes), instead of stopping at Spangles for a double breakfast burger and large tots with a xl diet pop.
Ah well, maybe tomorrow my will power will return. Grandson was so hungry, he finished a plate of food while standing at the sink. Remember those days?
