I ate huge Friday- and a larger breakfast sat-- ribs with no sauce on sat noon, and practically nothing Sunday-- didn't weigh in didn't want to be depressed.
I can to the realization awhile ago that I am a "clean plater" I eat all the food on my plate. The best way for me to cut my intake is to either put less on my plate-- OR put healthier stuff on my plate. End of story. Resisting the urge for allot of awesome food sux though.
We’ve started to use small plates at home and waiting to go back before considering seconds. It also helps to let the dog lick the plate as soon as you’re done too. Then you’ll have to take a new dish to get more. Unfortunately, I need to start moving more besides intake management.
Well after having gotten down to 200, and holding for a few weeks, my weight went up to 207 again, then hovered there for a bit, then down to 203. That being said, my waist is smaller, and I can tell that because of my belt, my muscles in my stomach are starting to show through a bit more, and my shoulders are gaining ever so slightly in size and strength. I was hoping the weight lifting at the gym would cause me to go down in weight. Now, I will say that I got sun burned pretty bad and that may be why my weight went up so quickly, but it seems that now that the burn is peeling, my weight is on its way back down.
I took a bag of frozen chicken tenderloins, opened it up, poured in some raspberry vinegarette salad dressing, some soy sauce, and some Applewood smoked seasoning. It was really quite good.
I know im still chunky- but i also know I had to make another hole in my belt-- the right way :-) so I am getting smaller by just not eating as much, and not eating junk between meals. Training my brain to pick smaller portions and whatnot is still hard-- (ie regular single burger- no cheese and no fries-- as opposed to 2- 4 patty burgers with bacon and everything asa a combo with extra burger)
YEP! That will make a significant difference. That was my key to success. A lady I work with asked me about getting skinny today. She said "Not Sickly" just smaller, which I took as a compliment.
I weighed in at 190 this morning. It might have been lower, but I went out to dinner with a friend and I had already had my coffee for the morning before I weighed in. That's down from 242. previously.
