You can still get in trouble if you maim or injure somebody in your house causing you a threat.

I hate to be the one to do it... But, what are we missing?!?!? There is no reason after 6 days that you don't have your truck back! Law is in you side! You were close enough to take it. If cops even showed up, you can prove its yours. WTF? Even if it's in another state, get all you paperwork and go visit the local cops! Cops love an easy arrest. What are you not telling us? Sueing is not an option because as posted earlier, they are both dirtbags that you will gain nothing from. I just feel something is left out of this story or I'm missing something? That is all

Completely agree George. Cops should have been the first stop not the lawyer. I tried explaining this a couple pages in.

It's the same here. Unfortunately, this was handled poorly on Ryan's part.

I'm still rooting for you though Ryan.

So, you got a title with your name on It, a truck with plates registered to you, and a key that fits it....how is this stealing your own stuff back? It's yours plane and simple, nothing illegal there..

As for the tire shop, unless the guy with the tires has a receipt from the tire shop he has nothing to show he paid for them, where as the tire shop has a receipt for them. Don't see any reason why you can't go repo them.

Kinda torn between hoping Ryan is lying to us and this didnt really happen to him, but also wondering why keep such a crazy story going.

Ryan if this is a load of BS... YOU GOT US! ITS OK TO STOP NOW!
lol
But sadly I feel as if it isnt BS and hes totally screwed now. Shoulda test driven it away..
