Looking back over the pictures, I noticed your exhaust hangers. Homemade? Very nice.

Looks like you've been busy. What happened to the 4x4 eco truck?

thanks!

Fall of 1997 it looked like this. A few min here a few hrs there. Only thing left is to install a couple A/C hoses and charge system along with full buff/detail

its sitting in front of shop. One man band that’s worn out from so many years of doing this. Feels like all at standstill. As of late it’s the 427 truck getting the attention. Next up is Eco2 garage packed hardly room to walk.

Just keep plugging along. Takes months to see progress. Finding good help near impossible.

I hear that! Doesn't seem to matter what the craft, some people "have it" and some don't. If the help doesn't "have it" you will spend much more time trying to explain what needs to be done, overseeing and directing their work, offering suggestions and answering questions, and then having to re-do the work they did.

It had been so long since an update I had forgotten you were in Arizona. I was out that way in October and would have loved to stop by and check out your work in person.

Its surely not forgotten! Each time I walk by it which is many times per day the thought is there as how to proceed. Wish I had a few people helping as really want to build this truck.

Plan is to use the complete drivetrain and suspension, steering, brakes all adapted to the stock '66 4x4 frame.

I really want to do the 64 short bed with 3.0L FWD swap too & give it to one of my daughters as a daily driver. That body and frame is really mint. Really hate to dispose of it as have been unable to sell it.

1966 F250 Ranger Update:

The body/sheet metal on this truck is nothing short of incredible. Thought I would share a few photo's of where the build is at right now.
Cab prior to teardown. Note how mint the paint on back of cab is. 50+ years of California and AZ sun took a toll to paint on topsides tho. But, this truck has less dings than a typical new car a few years old.

Its been going on 10 yrs with carpet removed but yet inside is still quite nice. (yes did save original carpet with proper date codes ink stamped along with part numbers)

I ended up stripping entire cab to bare metal to start fresh. Typical simply cannot leave anything undone! The might as well's really add up started out doing just a few "spots" and pretty soon no paint left.

not too long ago it was my daughters Only vehicle. A bit of overnight camping at a local lake. I did not realize how HUGE those tires were. LOL. But it sure helped the MPG with those 4.10 Gears!

Gotta be going on 10 yrs since I bought this truck. Prob around 30,000 miles since then even though its been parked for many of those years torn apart
