I'll take slow progress over no progress any day.
Keep it up!

Really slow going! Have not been on FTE at all as still trying to beat the deadline. Not looking good.
Still need to figure out that grille swap. Out in shop until I fall asleep. When I do remember its usually right before I fall asleep . . . Then same thing the next day and the next . .
Now here I am killing time here! Should be finishing up the wiring. Close but had to take a break. Too stressful
Much more difficult uploading pics to PB but will post a few. 2340 new pics since last upload.

Was supposed to be in your neck of the woods today but things changed last minute. No worries though. Not in a rush.
Is the 427 your plan for Flag 7/1? I might take the ride up.

Break's over. Now back to work.

Yep, the 18 yr project so far. Plan was to have it ready for Flag show but I am about 3 months behind for how much is left to do. Especially trying to photo document everything & not just slap it together but make everything look
as new as possible & to really learn each nut n bolt and each wire. So far wiring is taking up 10x more time than I thought it would. Trying to restore 52 yr old wiring harness to look new not so easy.
The Boss 9 has always been one of my favorite Ford engines and yours is amazing, but the short bed with the FE is absolutely gorgeous! I missed all your posts over the past year as I concentrated on restoring my house. I don't ever plan to stop playing with my toys that long again.

Apparently I am young and ignorant contrary to my white beard. What is a Boss 9? I have only heard of the Boss 302, 351 and 429.
Yes, that's correct. It isn't a stock bore/stroke either so it isn't a 429 but it's based on the 429 but Kaase improved every flaw in the original design and turned it into an engineering work of art IMO.

Yep! This one is 9 Liter and has twin turbo's. Also all aluminum to help keep weight down. 1500 daily driver HP in a pickup should do the trick!
B9 is just a short term for the Boss 429. People understand B9 much better than a 9 Liter Boss
Is that a stock color for the Mustang? Closest I am finding on a search is Royal Maroon. If it's not stock, what is it so I can shamelessly steal it for someday when I get around to building mine. The 69 sportsroof body style has long been my favorite car of all time and this color may just beat out Acapulco Blue as my new favorite on that car. No fair distracting me with Mustang eye candy. I still have two trucks to finish first!

HA! yep Royal Maroon looks awesome with clear over it or mixing 50/50 clear color on last couple coats. (preferred method) I got 6 trucks to finish so distraction is part of life around here! Always fun to have others be in same boat . .
