Thanks y'all !
Now I am on the hunt for an F1 bed. I decided the Express bed belongs to the correct F2 or F3.
I will need to shorten the frame. I know that has been done and I seem to remember....remove 8" in front of the rear axle and remove 12" behind the rear axle. I know several professional welders that already told me they would weld it up for me.
IF ANYONE HAS OR KNOWS OF A BED. I'M LISTENING! PLEASE PM ME!
I may just buy a repop if I can't find a feasible way to get a used one. They are pricey with the raised panel sides, but I am thinking rust free, bolt it up, paint it, done...
If anyone has any insight on purchasing a repop bed, please PM me with your advice!
The Express bed is already tentatively spoken for.

I bought a bed for my 64 not an easy find picked it up in Tucson with the help of Bill Willson paid $300 for it hauled it home gas was about $1000 and after 2
months of repairs I had a nice bed
Jeff, do you have F2 rear fenders you are planning to use? If so they won't work with the F1 box. They have a narrower profile.
I won't even screw with an old box unless it is pristine. Most end up with WAY more hours($$$) in them than buying a new one.
That's what I am looking at. Buying new, but I still wanted to see any options.
I have a set of F1 fiberglass rear fenders. Bought from BEBOP's like 4 years ago.
Yeah that is nice! I will look at that. Were you happy with the quality?
I presume so, otherwise, you would have said something.
Yes it is good quality bed from northern classics they are no longer in business and very close to original I can’t see any difference between it and the old one I have, just no sheet metal over the wood deck
Jeff, I clicked on your link from when you replied to my radiator post. I just spent over a hour reading through your build and very nice work sir. It's going to turn out great. I too spent some time not working on mine for about five years do to work and knee surgery's. Now since I am on disability money is tight but doing what I can. I look forward to seeing more of your progress.
