Progress today!

Well it's been a long winter. I thought work would slow down for me this winter and it did not! So here is springtime and I won't be able to do much this summer because I will be working tons of overtime starting May 1rst.

But I was able to get in the garage today and fab up a fan shroud for the new electric fan. I still have some adjusting to do, but here are some pics.

YOU MIGHT BE A REDNECK.....

Progress is progress no matter how slow.
Don't work yourself to death. You need some quality time in the garage. Glad to see you getting something done.

Jeff, it really looks great and like it will do the job well. And a nice workbench - not all of us can afford such a fancy one! Enjoy what little time off you have, I know what it is like to be working so much. Makes me want to retire and just do what I want to do...

Jeff,
Nicely done.

And to think, all these years I've been slaving away standing at a work bench trying to fab my parts. Who knew that the key was to slip out to the patio and work from a porch swing?

You're the man!!

Bobby

LOL...The reason I have two pics of the table? If you notice the first it is in a certain position. The second picture...The tabletop can turn when the sun gets in your eyes! So I have a FLINTSTONE turntable!

running board repair

I decided to play with my rusted out running board/s ...
sandblasted the rust area, cut only the bad metal and made a patch from another partial r/b , got it from Josh Madsen last year. Thanks Josh !!

I will be working on this tomorrow, so we will see how it comes along.
I was surprised at how well the ribs lined up, considering how I cut it.

Very cool,

Of course, if you really want it to come out nice you have to take it out to your sundial table and work from your porch swing....LOL

Tough repair, its looking good

Jeff, looking good. Grind it smooth, prime it up and apply some bed liner and it'll look good as new.
