Hi Topper! Nice to hear from ya'll
I'm a little pumped to lay out some primer! Last time I shot anything was about 1995....I hope it is kinda like riding a bike...
Thanks Ben. I interviewed last Wednesday for a different job...almost 26 years with my current employer. Always put in 110% and we little guys got a .98% payraise...I can't give 110% for .98% "TAKE THIS JOB AND SHOVE IT! "
I should know something by the end of the week. Better pay. Always home.
More time for Nicolle and I. As you can see...more garage time too!
Hope this works out well for you. Companies today just don't realize what they loose when a long time employees starts felling this way. A new kid is not going to give even 80% or care a damn bit about doing the kind of job a 25+ year employee does.
Yeah calm down....no progress to report...
But my F321 has a new brother! Leftover 2015 2.7 liter ecoboost 325 hp and averaging 21.3 mpg back and forth to work. I got rid of 2 vehicles, got one more to send bye-bye. Nissan Sentra.

Reason: pic is upside down???
I'm trying to figure that out??? I don't know how it is upside down???
I have uploaded and removed and tried to fix it !!!
Any ideas???
I have never had a problem posting pics....I can't figure out why it is upside down....I even tried loading it upside down...same results.
Anyone else have this problem?
If you open the image on your pc it is probably upside down.
right click and rotate the image until it looks right. You don't need to save, it will automatically save the orientation.
Then you can post it.
Hey Jeff,
I've been having the same problem so don't feel bad.
Looks good on my computer but posts sideways or upside down on here....
Hmmmm.... It's probably a user error but I haven't figured it out.
No more highways & bridges all summer!
Been going through your thread Jeff; nice work. Have gotten some good ideas for my build. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Thanks Steve!
I don't have any pics from today, but I spent the weekend removing paint and surface rust from the inside of the cab. I am about sick of that already...I wish I would have taken it to be blasted out...I think I spend a lot of time trying to get every little nook and cranny....then after umpteen hours of zombie sanding
I feel like washing it out and just epoxy prime the dang thing....good enough...
I need more abrasive stuff. Gonna run to the store after work tomorrow.
I also am going to set up a pseudo paint booth just outside the garage door.
I have a metal frame tarp canopy sorta thingy. i am gonna buy a big roll of plastic sheeting and enclose it. I will cut and tape in some filtration and a good sized fan. At least that's the plan in my head.
You keep after it Jeff. Frustration is just part of the building process.
Thank You Steve.
My goal this weekend is to have the cab in epoxy primer before Monday.
I will take some before, during, and after pictures. I love the transition from ugh...to AWE Yeah!!!
I am spraying this sucka one way or ta other! (tired of trying to stay ahead of flash rust...)
