Things are starting to pickup where I left off...Time to start enjoying my automotive enthusiasm again! I am sick! I got 30 years of catching up to do!

Way ta go Jeff. I can't begin to imagine anyone putting anything before the kids. I am 60 now and raising two of my grandsons since birth. They are 11 and 13 now. I guess when they leave I will be to old to do anything else but

to move in with one of them.

Really I just can't imagine a life with out kids in it.
Looking forward to great gran-kids one day.

Jeff, with my wife parenting never seems to end. She smothers both our boys even though they both are over 20. I thought they got cheaper as they got older and once they're grown they go away but mine have only gotten more expensive and demand more time.

I too thought once the kids were grown I would have more money and time but it doesn't seem to work that way. Hopefully some day before I'm on my death bed.

Look at it this way- we get to have our trucks, maybe not as nice as we would like them due to too few extra $$ to spend on them and we have our kids with too many $$ spent on them (no matter what age) but at least we still have them- think about the parents of the More OK and Newtown CT kids that didn't make it. Count our blessings and enjoy every minute of them guys I think we have more than we realize at times.

From that, I thought you were somewhat farther away from driving the truck.

Jeff, you are right, I did mean Rob driving around the barns.You guys resemble each other when you behind the wheel it is hard to tell who is behind the smile, ha ha.

Yes, if I let the chin hair grow I would be almost as good looking as Jeff! Good thing our wives appreciate the follically challenged (shaved head) look! We sure know that Nicolle likes it when combined with Homade and Rt 66! I don't know how my smile could get any bigger when I was driving my truck and I made sure I let out a good YOO HOO! as well. I'll see if I can get Bob to post the video. Jeff, your day is coming and I hope to be there to see it!

Well after a rather stagnant period of time, I finally was able to get something done this past weekend. First off...I had been setup to build around a 351W in the beginning(3 years now) My brake booster fit fine with the 351W, but switching to the 5.0 EFI Explorer created an interference with the booster.
Long story short...back to the drawing board. The old booster was from a T-bird
thin and wide. It was in the way of the upper intake manifold. Why did Ford design the upper manifold as they are?

"One of Ford BETTER ideas"

Anyway...I had to change to a different booster. Of course the first one was a three bolt unit...the new one is a 4 bolt unit...aka square pegs don't fit in round holes. Well unless the round hole is larger...ok...I'm overthinking this.

So one step forward...two steps back...But I got it figured out now.
The new unit is from a Ford Explorer since I have an explorer motor, rear disc brake (explorer) axle, might as well be a darkside purist???
