Do you also print a water-slide decal for the font?

Not yet, I'm doubting that bright yellow and red will show up against a black fount using waterslide. I'll print it on paper and then glue/shellac it on.

I reserved a campsite, you can hang out with me Justin. I plan on lightening my dwindleing collection of 220F's and other common stuff (that didn't get turned into BSA awards).

Mica (AKA "isinglass")! Haven't used any mica since I re-glassed my wood stove's door some forty years ago.

If you take care of it, it will be the last time you replace it.

Yeah im kinda itching to light up a lantern to check it out, the only mica ive seen in action was well abused.

i like all my lanterns but i seem fond of my june 1928 228 slant...even more with the mica it would of worn when new.

before with a USA made pyrex globe

after with the repop mica....will say the lighting door will make it much!!! Easyer to light.

That's a clean one. Over the years, all my cleaned (evapo-rust) treated metal gets a layer of light rust in this humid environment. I've started spraying a few with high temp clear. We'll see if that peels in a couple years.
