Congrats Randito...I am really glad that you got the money for your truck motor. They finally did what they should have done in the first place!
On another note...this problem for these motors has not been resolved...and it is something pretty severe. The battle might have been won on this one...however the war continues on getting Ford to recognize they still have a huge problem with this motor that is costing entire engine replacements.
I'll say it again , I know in my heart that you guys are responsible for this outcome. Ya'll should all be proud, and I am truly thankful. It felt good telling the service dork how stupid he was..or is.. I do love my truck, and am glad that I can keep driving Ford. If I can ever do anything for ya'll, just let me know. I'll be around here. Thanks again..
Congrats Randito on finally getting a positive result.
As a longtime GM owner who has just placed his order for a 2012 F350, I was really starting to have concerns. Glad we have some recourse when things go really wrong.
Looks like the camera on my phone is going to get a workout (also saving an extra sick day) if I have to take the truck in for anything other than a service....
And a huge Thanks to everyone that helped. It's nice to know you guys are out there....hope I don't need you for anything other than answering easy questions.
Congrats on an excellent outcome - finally! Hope your truck runs better than ever and many 'yotes meet their demise as a result. Wish things would have been different for Rick as well, it's amazing what a little public pressure can do sometimes.
Congrats Randy!! Glad to hear it turned out like it should have in the beginning. I will probably be ordering a new truck soon. But I will be asking a lot if questions first.
