I went to the Smedly Dunlap's Photobucket site and found a couple of other pictures that I think Stu would be interested in:
Dick, that Smedly sure is an interesting guy. I'd bet he'd posted on here before, just seems very familiar.
Yeah Bob, when I saw Dick's posting of those the first time I about came outta my shoes! According to Mark Mossell, he thinks there were seven Rangers made in '51 and four are known to have survived. The pics sent me to the barn to check to see if mine at one time had roof running lights, but it didn't. Maybe this one is still sitting in that shed somewhere waiting to be rescued. Stu
OT - It's not a Ford however it out odds the Ford Transporter
Im staring at this picture and It Can't be real, can it... Looks photoshopped to me.
the front bumper of the car is on the engine. where are the brake clutch, and steering etc hooked up? picture is very shadowy but especially dark around the cab of that truck. I say it's photoshopped..
on the other hand here is one that's not photochopped, I though I had posted these pictures here but didn't see them, apologies if they are already here somewhere.

These were posted here before, probably in the working trucks thread. I remember posting an fyi about the truck on the right having a period New Mexico license plate.
