I have to laugh. The rear side window on a CV is part of the body. Continentals have the glass in the door. I thought something looked familiar, but odd, yet I couldn't put my finger on it. I guess I should have looked out the window next to my chair - my '98 Continental is sitting forty feet away and a profile shot at that! LOL
I used to work at a Lincoln dealer, that's the only reason I bought this car. The '98 - '02 Continentals really don't have many pattern failures and definitely nothing serious. I bought this one eleven years ago ($4800) for my work/winter car and it's been aces.
Looks like an Alaskan camper (mounted on a utility body). These could be cranked up several feet higher than shown in the pic, then cranked back down when leaving the camp site.
