As much as I hate to bring this back on topic, because I know we're all full of **** and bull stories, , I did see this unique '52 extra cab M-H COE that looks like it should fit here.

that tractor, an "N" series ford, is called a Funk conversion. i have seen these before at tractor shows. used to have a 52 8n with a loader and thought about doing that but ended up selling it and now regret it.

I've seen pictures of some 8N's with a Y-block in it...
OK, we're talking re powered tractors and this guy does re power some Ford tractors. The link does provide a picture of his very nice Ford pickup so it is on topic. How about an N with a turbine? I've seen and heard that thing fire up. Awesome. Tractor lovers, get your towel before following the link or your keyboard may be damaged.
Wow!! Thanks. That was fun. I hated to see it end.
One of my most enjoyable rebuilds was an 8N that belonged to my mother in law.
This was in 1999 and 2000. She sold it soon after and bought a new Kabota.
The new owner is still using the 8N to this day.
The Kabota is no longer running.

Thanks Ray, nice website..... We had a 48 8N on our farm. My Dad bought it new. In the late 60's he traded it in on a used 53 Jubilee so he could pull a 3 bottom plow. After a week he missed the 8N so much he went back to the dealer and bought it back. So we had 2 Fords on the farm until my Dad retired and sold both at his auction. Both nice tractors. Dad had these accessories for the 8N, saw for the 3point hitch, umbrella, and of course plows and disks.

Saw this on Facebook, Bobco posted it, I'm not sure what his FTE username is.
Actually his Facebook page is something worth checking out. Lots of cool pictures.
It doesn't necessarily fit this topic, but it's close enough.
Nice picture, Joe! Interestingly enough, contrary to popular belief and evidenced here, real hot rods were not finished in "suede" nor were they rubbing their bellies on the ground with bizarre modifications, as reported on other so called traditional "hokey" message boards.
Yep they was prolly racing. Prolly more than 50, 60 miles an hour on that country back road. The bike cop prolly had to do everything he could to catch them with out getting killed in the high speed chase. Of course the Ford V8 is out front. I love that pic. It has so much to offer. Saying so much.
It will be on my screen saver slide show thingie.
i am looking for one that is already done or in the process of being done. what i really want is the cab of the custom 3 door truck so that way i dont have to make another cab. or if you know how to make the cab could you let me know!
This one might still be available. I'd known of the truck from its auction sale, then heard it might be again for sale. A year or more ago I tracked it down and talked to the guy about it. Offered him much more than he paid for it, left my name and number, then never heard from him. Maybe you will have more luck than I did. These are my pictures of the truck, not some pulled off the web. Stu
