Take the bell off if you need an excuse say the cover fits better. It easier to put on and off than replace so don't hesitate. Have fun

What a great event! It goes without saying, but I will say it anyway. Take lots of pictures.

I agree with Dave, take the bell off. I'm sure they won't blink an eye at that. I would bet they have people that have odd requests for that high class of an event.

Thanks guys I agree with you both. Thinking about it further, it really doesn't have to be in place until Sunday when I drive it on the field.

When in doubt, whip it ou.....no wait, that's not right....

I say, if it make you nervous, take it off. You can put it back on Sunday morning before heading into the field. You got to do what makes you feel comfortable and lets you sleep at night..

Sounds like it will be a really great event, quite an honor to be asked to attend

Good for you
Bobby

Take it off! You don't have to answer or explain to anyone!

Keith , it is your truck . You are doing them a service/ favor just by having your truck there . 'nough said . Entertained the idea of attending but have a show up here . Ray Greenwood ( a good friend ) will have his 1902 FORD truck there .

Hi Guys! Got back from the show about an hour ago. We had a great time. They set us up in the best spot - on a hill in the shade. Free food & alcohol, beautiful weather and of course some gorgeous big money cars. Finally got to meet Wayne Carini. Super nice man. He sat in the truck and took some photos with the family. There were some cool old Fords there too. A 1931 fuel truck & a 36 flower truck used by a funeral home. This was one of the nicest shows I have attended. The truck was a hit with the spectators. Enjoy the photos:

Didn't think it would fit on a flat bed but this was a heavy duty one rated at 16 tons.

Same guy owned all 5!

That's awesome! I'm so glad you had a good time.
You needed someone standing by the car hauler to give it some scale.
Your truck outclasses those high dollar jobs in my book.

Keith sounds like you had a great time. Did you remove the bell for transit?

Rite on Keith, I'm very happy for you and your family, your truck is so special in so many ways, it surely deserves to be honored in such a fashion. Congratulations my friend.
