Wow, you've been a partying fool this month! Congrats on the retirement! That is awesome. Those timeline pics of you in front of the ambulances then and now are pretty cool.
Thanks guys!! I can always count on your kind words. I'll let everyone know when the book is close to being available. Its been done since 2014 and I honestly know know where the time has gone. I promised myself it will be done this year!
Congrats Keith! Well deserved! I like the old pic with the pic of you today. What a great way to do invitation. My wife did a similar one for invitations to my retirement party. A picture of me standing on the running board getting in my truck in 1983 and one of me in 2012 in the same pose in the same friends driveway.
Congratulations Keith on your Retirement! I have followed your thread only for a few years, since joining FTE and have not yet taken the time to go back to the beginning. I hope to do that soon. I will be following in your foot steps a year from now and retiring with 34 years at Lincoln Fire and Rescue. Those 34 have gone so fast. Definitely a profession that has been satisfying and rewarding. I guess we have to let those Recruits move up at some point Anyway good luck with your new adventure and I look forward to your posting about the book. Brother
Congratulations Keith, If your retirement is anything like mine, you will have less time to do the things you want, than when you were working lol.. Enjoy your self, you seem to have a wonderful family and a guy cant ask for anything better than that. I have always admired the pride and workmanship that you have put into your truck, your Grandfathers memory, and your dedication to keeping the history of the Patrol from being lost to history. Also thank you for your years of public service. Not saying goodbye, just a thumbs up. Keep on Rockin On
Keith congratulations on retirement!! I was born and raised in Chicago and never knew there were palm trees in Chicago ! Lol
Enjoy your well deserved retirement.
