True, I don't mind helping out when I have time. The people I raced home to meet about my outdoor furniture ordered 8 lounge chairs for their new pool deck. That'll be a nice chunk O' change if everything works out. If it doesn't, I'll have one kick butt set of outdoor furniture.
I wanna come play to dang it lol....stupid clutch issues
DOH! my list for crap i need to do to the womans blazer keeps growing i just realized (pulled into the driveway and say it laying under the blazer) that i have to put that annoying bottom support arm on and 1 on the top still.
Will do there Unk Bob, I am thinking wednesday get on the bronc, mon/tue I have a few other home projects to finish.
How does you and Tim's schedule look for a trip north on wed? I need to drop and clean out the rear tank and finish the exhaust, install a batt box, and finish a little wiring.
And.....want to change out the carb with one off ol red its a Edelbrock 600 manual choke with a "off road" kit.
And take it for a mini shake down run on my bro-inlaws property, are ya game?
Sounds like a deal on this end. Wednesday should not be a problem Let me know for sure, and it's a done deal!
Allen you sound like you're into wood working. If I could start a business that would be a choice. I actually made a couple truck loads of things like bird baths, houses, nesting houses, squarell (?) feeders, and cedar bench. I did sell a few things, keeping my cedar bench, alll hand sanded. Turned the leggs on my Shopsmith 10ER, kool machine! Have about 7 coats of high gloss poly on it. Wiskey I'd like to get out there and see what all you have going on. I have alot of time on my hands, wouldn't mind getting a little dirty from time to time. Cash is allway's nice, but I sure like a good trade for things I think I need.!!!!!!!! Unk Bob
Wow! It looks like everyone has been working hard this weekend.
I, however, have not. I hooked up the trailer Friday and headed for Montauk State Park to meet up with some fishing buddies. Unfortunately, there was a problem... I was a week early.
Not a bad thing really - I got to spend a beautiful Saturday outdoors with the family, did a little fishing, and got to cook breakfast for the family. The van ran great and seems to be running better than when we left, so I guess it needed to be blown out a bit.
Glad to see you found you way home RIch!
Terry - I had some bubblegum pink wire that I got from my father-in-law years ago. I used it to rewire most of the under-dash wiring on a '71 Valiant I had about 20 years ago. I got the pleasure of encountering it with a different owner several years ago. He was at a parts place trying to find something under the dash and ranting about which wire it could be. I helpfully suggested the pink one! For some reason - he was not amused. He was dumbfounded when I found it right away. He was rolling on the floor when I admitted to being the one who wired it all pink in the first place.
Yeah, Bob. Stop by sometime. I'll show you around. Heck, you're only ten minutes from me. My stuff isn't as nice as what you describe. Here's some of the furniture I build.....

Yea is you like working with wood, I like crafting with metal, horse shoes to be exact.
I have made a ton of equestrian/western gifts out of them.
Use to make me alot of side cash when I worked at a stables just north of Nashville Tn.
I do metal, too.
Before..... Just loosely mocked up with no mounting tabs and not running.
After......Ready to ride
Here's another one I built....cut the stock frame in half at the seat post, weld on hard tail, over all frame stretched 4" and lowered 4", down tubes stretched 3 1/2", raked 40 degrees, 8" over front end, stretched the peanut tank 4", T-bars, fabbed forward controls, fabbed side mount license plate mount, fabbed seat pan, fabbed spider web fender struts, I painted it with a bunch of colors I had left over I mixed together. Kind of a pearl metallic purple, then sprayed the tin with black and gave it a purple and silver flame job.
