Hey everyone haven't been on here in awhile. But this is what I've been up to check it out. I've been working on my Truck for over 3 yrs and I'm Finished on it for alittle while until I decide when to do the 3G alt and headlight upgrade. Hope I posted it up right?
hey allan...if rich dont get ya fixed up, i might just happen to have a 84 4x4 standard shift truck sitting out back of the shop.... that a good buddy who helped me work on my bus could possibly talk me out of the drive train..ha ha ha ha
swordman all I can say is AWESOME TRUCK!!!!! Looks like all the hard work was worth it, that thing looks BAD **** in black! You have to bring that thing to a G2G.
its cold and wet and yet for some reason i am wrenching on the womans blazer to try to finish it up so that nightmare will finally be over....and now the battery is dead some idiot wired up the radio so that it stays on all time and drains the battery and since it has no sound i didn't notice....
Hey Whiskey, I did a body swap from a '77 half ton 2WD and dropped it on an '84 3/4 ton 4X4 on the first truck I'm trying to clone. I have absolutely NO desire to do that twice! Thanks for the offer though. In case you're wondering, the frame under the bed is the same. The frame under the cab, ....not so much. Lot's of cutting and welding went on there.
With this order for the lounge chairs, all my spare time is spoken for for a while. If you're still at it when I'm done, I'll swing by and give you a hand. Should be a week or two.
Beautiful truck by the way, Swordman. Quite a difference between before and after. You can be proud of that one!
Beautiful work on that truck Swordman...... But 28 post' in 3 years!
We do throw together some somewhat drop of a hat get 2 gethers. We're hoping to be at Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch (SMORR) someting this weekend. Don't think you really want to get that in a mud pit yet do you?
Unk Bob
Alan... What are we still doing up? Where are you in Sparta? I drove through a small stretch today , cut through JJ, and north down 125 to a buddy's house to play guitars this morning?

We have G2G (get too gether) every so often, drive your Ford truck, have a cook out with hdogs/burgers and just talk trucks and life.
Wifes and kids are always welcome and we have had G2G's at Lake of the Ozarks twice, Table Rock State Park (Branson), Springfield zoo park and have mini g2g (3 or 4 folks only) at a gun show in Lebanon and steak house in KC.
Even the Spg antique auto swap meet years ago, remember Unk Bob you got your front bumper and factory push bar for $50 bucks.
And SMORR is a tenative one some time this month, I would not mud pit your truck either way to nice for that, again damn nice truck!

Everything about that truck is right on the money. You did one heck of a job on it.
