Did I see see something about a mini g2g? That sounds like a hellofa deal! Cerp I did body and paint for years. What area are you wanting to do some rust repairs too? I need to get off my butt and do some of mine too. I have all the tools, only got rid of my pain gun...
Unk Bob
I'm not sure about posting here to sell something but, here goes. I've decided to sell my Snap On tool box and get something smaller for the garage, and this would free up a couple bucks to help re-finance the house. Like alot of places our's went down in value. I have a VARY nice Snap On KRL1003BPC that i bought new 6 yeas ago. Then I paid $7500 for it, the box is now list for $10,695 and is in great shape. It has 23 drwaers, liners in all drawers, and a plywood/particle board top to keep the rubber mat from being damaged, has a Snap on vynal cover that has been on it since new. I'd trade another large box and cash difference or it can be purchased for $5000 cash, it's listed on "The List" for $5500! It measures 72"wide, 46" tall, and drawers are almost 30" deep, with ball bearing sliders. Unk Bob
alright well let me know wr. And if you decided you wanted to drop the motor off and leave the car for a later time i dont have a problem letting you take the title with you so you have it.
as far as rust its mainly the floorboards of the truck. the cab corners look fine in it there is one spot where it looks like i would actually have to take off the bed to patch but for right now i would be happy just getting my floors to where they didn't flex (bad patch job by po) and so i don't feel like gonna fall through them.
Jeez, Cerp. You gonna make me bring the welder too?? C'mon down Rich. Apparently Cerp is gonna hold Wrench-fest 2011 this coming weekend.
Hey Whiskey, is that a '69 Mustang Grande in the back there, or the later '71-'73 body style? It's kinda hard to tell in the pictures.
lol nah you can wait on the welder i dont have the metal for the job yet anyways and knowing me i would probably get sidetracked by my truck and never put the engine in the chevy then .
Appreciate the invite this weekend but the "boss/wifey" has plans for us this weekend I have been gone 6 weeks.........
AWWWW! Poor Rich....
It's a Monday afternoon, not quite raining yet...I'm home from werk, little one is still in school and Mrs. is at werk. I've got the castle to myself for 30 minutes or so...
I have to get some guy some
79 headlight buckets on monday....... jeesh....lol.
The story I heard was, he already HAD '79 Headlight buckets and he needed '77 Headlight buckets. .....and turn signals.
No rush, Rich. Me and Bob don't have to have our grills right on Monday.
Besides, I got a new toy to play with. I bought a '64 Chevelle last night like I had back in the '80's. I'm actually going to clone the original car. It was plenty famous where we grew up. Lots of stories and memories in that car.
mom's 93 tempo 2.3 was running rough dieing in reverse, just idling like crap. I changed the IAC last night, NOw its a race car she has to hold her brakes all the time. rpms well over 3000 at idle.
hey all..looong day just got home...if anyone could come to theodosia and load up the engine for cerp..im am sure he will give ya a big wet one right on the lips...
...but seriously i think i can squeeze the engine out the 8 ft door in the back of the shop with a little help.. if i could get it in my truck i could haul it up there after work one day this week or something like that... i just have so much junk in the way it is gonna be a job just getting it loaded by myself..but will look again tomorrow to see if i can come up with a plan..
i just gave it some more thought (probably a bad idea on my part my head is only good for a hat rack).....serp if you could drive the little car down here help load the engine i could run you and the 4.3 home......just a thought
pinto..i am not positive on that engine exactly, but on some cars that i have done, you have to reset the iac before you put it in......not good to idle at 3000 around town..

with the motor mount and clutch the way there are in that eagle i wouldn't chance driving it there i really dont think it would make it over a 1/4 way there even. Truck would probably make it if i absolutely had to drive it down there but my clutch in it is pretty weak also.
