I still got a 4x4 sale! Got mine today too! sent my money with buddy to his undisclosed salvage in AR to pick up my engine. They pulled the wrong engine. Now they want $900 for a DOHC 2.4 with 80,xxx miles, I cant find any thing better. I said do it! So Wednesday I should have my engine!
Well my noise came back today. so I'll be going by my Mechanic's shop on my way to Forsyth to look at the rims I want to buy.
I damn well sure hope that sound sticks around this time so the mechanic can hear it.
Then when I get back to town. i have a side job to do, so I can make some more money to buy my tires before they go up in price.
That leaves me to do my springs, shocks, and tail shaft seal on Sunday, along with the other chores that need to be done for the week.

Hey Ches, the guys at work have a Toyota Camry with a bad crank. The JUNKYARD wanted $1,400 for an engine. We went on line and found a rebuild kit with a crank, one rod, pistons, rings, seals gaskets, everything, for $400. With getting the head checked and doing a valve job and my labor to built it, they should around $600 for a new engine. ...Compared to $1,400 for a junkyard engine.
Just something to think about. You also know a guy that could help you build it, too!
cerp i have a engine hoist your welcome to borrow..would need it back as fast as possible though..it is a invaluable tool in my shop..give me a hollar if ya need it for a few days
