good morning, don't mind the snow as long as there's enough to warrant plowing, otherwise it's a wasted day of no work at all. Was going to shingle a roof i framed and sheathed on a barn the other day.
Just sold my means of plowing too... It's gonna suck to do my grandmother's driveway with the tractor again. 800 or so feet... providing i can get it out of the shed.
FTE MEMBER SIGHTING: at 1:15pm i saw the streamline mobile going north on rt. 9 in middletown. i waved from across the highway.
i still havent gotten my hands on a chemical test kit, but i am quite certain my head gaskets are leaking because the cap is blowing off pressure when i shut the truck off. so i will begin making my parts list, egr delete and sct will be included.
I would have waved if I wasn't on the phone, eating a sammich, steering with my knee, writing notes on a scrap of paper, and knew it was you. Another busy day in Streamland.
Menghi,
If you wake up one day and your new truck is gone don't worry. There will be a blue 99.5 7.3 left there for you with the keys in it. Your truck will be back within a few thousand miles in need of a Urea refill....
That is a sweet truck. Wish I could afford something like that.

So...
Wishing you bought a 7.3 yet? Btw.. head gasket buddies! I recommend E&G Automotive on Dudley Ave, Wallingford for your machine work. They treated us pretty well on the 550's heads. Going to drop off the exhaust manifolds when funds allow.
Pete what are are you going to have done to the exhaust manifolds ?
Aaron you should also do the upgraded turbo oil lines, I also put on the head coolant lines to help flow the coolant through the heads.
They are only $100 and can only be done with the heads off.
You should also put on the fuel crossover line and do the 6.4 banjo bolts on the front of the heads.
