Today was a good day. I got the F150 ready to be traded in, with the exception of the push plates. This involved an exhaust swap and a ton of other stuff.. got about $7 in change out of it.
Tomorrow is the Ranger which will be even easier. I'm guessing that after the change from both trucks I can go out and buy something for the new truck. I'm thinking of having the windows tinted, any ideas on what it costs around here to have a regular cab truck's side and back windows tinted?
I think I paid around 200$ to get my reg cab done at tint masters on the Berlin turnpike. Cash only.
I second the mustang. Should get decent mpg's out of the v6, and absolutely better with the cool factor. I think I saw the same one you are looking at.
Friday!!! ugh i came home and found a milky substance under my truck on the ice. Freaking oil pan needs to be replaced I'm sure >_<. Check the dipstick and the oil is about an 1/8 of a quart down.
Afternoon guys.
Sorry to hear about your truck Tanner.
Can the pan be changed with the motor in the truck?
Well I have a wife and 3 kids sick with a cold.
I hope every one got out to enjoy the spring weather today.
I just got back from cruising down Rt 85 for a half hour or so with the windows down , running the crap out of the 5.4 cause i wont be driving it for a week and a half. just waiting for Pete to get here so we can head to vermont
Hope your family feels better Andy, have a good weekend everyone
I had my pan changed 3 months ago while engine stayed in the truck, it's tricky to do but alot easier than pulling the motor. Cost me 700 bucks. Current tranny issue cost me 3000 so far, just got the truck back and it's not fixed. all these techs and geniuses led me wrong, it's the computer after all and not the transmission like they all thought. I wanna cry.
