uh oh....i think my truck may have a a case of the leaks, in the head gasket area. if it is the head gaskets its barely leaking, i need to confirm this before i jump to any conclusions. i have topped the coolant level and plan on running it wide open the whole way home later.

I finally found time to wash and dry the truck. I feel much better now although I did find rust bubbles formed at the bottom of the passenger's door. Not real happy about that and will need to nip it in the bud sooner rather than later.
Afternoon guys.
Aaron that is not good news, good luck.
Time for the ARP's.
ya, i am going to get a chemical test kit and see for sure. it wasnt wet on the tank but it has the white tracking all around the cap and the coolant level went from the max to min line from the time i had a leaking hose to now. other than that there are no other signs like smell, steaming exhaust, or excess pressure when i shut it off.

miles whats going on with your dads truck?
Brought it in for oil leaking on the back brakes and they replaced the axle seals but said the bearings were fine. When he puts it on his lift at work he says he can move both back wheels around. Gotta bring him there before school tomorrow. It's an 04 4x4 4.0 with 170k
i they did all the work to change the seals, the friggen bearings would have added 10 minutes and $50. when you take the seal out, the bearing is RIGHT THERE! i had to make my own special tool but once i did, it took a few seconds to pull the old bearings out and the new ones tap right in. now they can do the seals AGAIN when they go in to change the bearings.
