start rebuilding the first of I hope many of this winters collapsed buildings today. From what i've seen the insurance companies have been pretty damn decent to the people affected, I just had 1 issue with 1 consultant who was a bit young and thought $400 was fair for removal of snow from a gas station canopy til I explained my insurance policy had a 1000 deductible and I'd never set a ladder up for hours of work near traffic people and cars for any price less than one including the deductible I'd need to pay out of my pocket in case of an accident. After a brief conversation explaining things to him he agreed 1600 was fair for a legitimate company that pays a decent wage ,all due payroll taxes, workers compensation etc. If any of you need help dealing with the insurance people concerning claims or getting paid for the snow removal from roofs lemme know I may be able to help having been a contractor for many years.
