Spotted this monkey face earlier in the week at a pumpkin patch in Half Moon Bay, CA, where the world's largest pumpkin is crowned every October.

Gave my '52 a workout today, hauling home a new purchase -- an Atlas 10" lathe! I'm stoked to start making chips! (It isn't really leaning as much as it looks -- in fact I don't think the springs dropped 1/2" with about 400 lbs back there.)

cool pic ross. my brother in law took his 49 (ch**y) to pick up a 4 liter v6 for a ranger he is working on, the guy at the yard was very reluctant to go near it with the forklift, but with some prodding, he loaded the engine already on a hoist, right into the truck.

No idea! I have to get it set up and read the manuals, etc. It's been years since I did anything on a lathe. But there always seems to be something I need machined, and all my local sources who were willing to do small jobs are gone.

Here's a working truck, it might no longer be a runner but its still "working"

I took these at a local nursery/curio shop. Note the earlier style bed

that truck would be too nice to be used for yard art up here in the northeast.

Bobby, I tried to take a picture of that poor creature but my camera puked on itself...

Anyway, today I gave my truck a good workout... about 650 lbs in back

I saw this truck and trailer in a hotel parking lot in Kimball, NE a couple of weeks back. It was great to see an ole' gal still earning her keep. I looked like the truck met some obstruction on the road during it's travels. I wish I could have met the owner but my travels required me to get back on the road. Hope she made it home safely.
