Maybe going off topic with the stuff but one of my dad's favorite stories was about a Nash. My dad was friends with local neighborhood cops. Back when the "Bath tubs" we're new the Milwaukee Police Department bought on for speed infor cement. My dad's friend was assigned one to sit at the end of one of the viaducts that span the center of the city. After being assigned the car he came by dad fuming. The car couldn't get out of own way and the local teenagers had fun speeding past his speed trap watching him try to keep up with them. The car didn't last long.
Actually Nash wasn't doing that bad when it folded in 1957. Hudson on the other hand which had been merged in 1954 with Nash had been on life support for quite a while. George Romney, later a politician was the head and he was a firm believer in small cars, primarily the Rambler so the big Nashes & Hudsons went bye bye. Sure remember them well, the bathtubs of 1949-51 and also the 1952-57s.

Those last two pictures are great. I notice that the F-5 has a driver's side mirror from the factory. And the trailer full of new 1950's.....not a droopy door handle in sight.
