Ok so I have a 675 holley truck avenger carb on my truck. I recently installed larger jets and noticed my power go up, but my mileage go down. I was getting around 8 mpg which is tolerable but now I'm getting 2.5-3, so my question is, should I change springs so that my secondaries dont come in at cruise as easily to help mileage?

Anyway way just give me your honest opinions, I know this motor can get a little better mileage.

The red wire above was just for charging purposes, if anyone was wondering.

I've blown my Monster Truck's Dixie Horn a couple times at your 79 Ford, I don't recall seeing that Chevy on Tractor Tires before... did you ever join Mississippi Mud ?

Yea, I've seen your f250 around town plenty times, and The General Lee too, hadn't seen it in a while. The Chevy is from Fulton, that pic was taken at Barnyard mudboggers. I never joined the Mississippi Mud, I'll look into it.

Do you notice any gas mileage benefit from running a K&N on your York? How about seat of the pants horsepower feel?

I'd say it's about 10% improvement in fuel economy (from 4 to 4.4 mpg respectively), can't say much for the seat of the pants feel.
