The turbo is for dad's tractor and will be farm use. Ford 9600, putting a manifold for a 9700 on it with a 3lm-466. 9700 manifold is divided and should flow a lot better.

That won't be for pulling, but here is one that is. At some point in time I posted on here about a 1066 puller tractor that me and my brother are working on. Got it this past fall from an older neighbor who was just unable to drive it anymore(he's been doing it for 40+ years). Goes pretty good, neighbor built a really good tractor for the amount of money in it, we're doing some refinements though. I'll try to get some more pictures this weekend.

Thomas,

What class you running? Farm Stock, Pro Stock or just open. I know I have seen that tractor pull before, from what I remeber it does pretty good. I would love to get back into pulling. I used to pull a D17 Allis in out of field, had a much larger engine than stock and lots more horsepower, but that was back when you did not have to spend lots of money to compete.

My buddy pulls a 5020 John Deere in out of field, not sure if there is many out of field tractors that ever see the field?

Good luck with pulling this year!

Thanks Lee. Depends on the sponsoring organization. Red River Valley pullers we would pull in the modified class, the Central MN pullers would be pro-stock class. It might not be putting out the power that some of the other smokers do, but it usually holds together all season.

Good question, don't think too many out of field tractors ever see the field.

Good afternoon everyone! Another rainy day but the snow is going down quick!

Thomas I think I have seen that tractor pull before too. Very cool! I would like to see some more pics. Let us know when you are going to pull maybe I can make it to one. They use to have pretty good pulls here in town a few years ago but have since quit doing them. I am not real sure why. You guys are right I dont think out of field tractors are that anymore. I can remember when my dad would unhook his JD 4440 out of the field and drive it to the pulls and then back to the field. Not a whole lot like that anymore.

Good evening guys.

Hey Lee. This is where I ordered my rotors and brakes from. Auto Parts Warehouse | Car Parts, Truck Parts & Auto Body Parts Online - Free Shipping on most Auto Accessories & Performance Parts – AutoPartsWarehouse

Funny story there too. I ordered one rotor for each side (there is a left and a right with slotted) and i ordered brake pads for front and back. My order arrived about a week later and all was good. Then the next day another set of rotors showed up. I emailed them to let them know but they never answered back. I ended up giving them to a member in Tennessee.

Thanks for the comments and reps guys!

I've been working on that truck for about three years. Most of the work over the first year. A lot of putzy things since. Tons I want to do still though...

Evening Jay, David & Troy if you are still hanging around and whoever else is out there. Can not believe how much snow we lost today. Put the sleds away today. I think the frost is out in spots too.

Thanks for the info Jay

Hey Lee!

Yeah, we lost a TON of snow today. But that's okay. I'm ready for the spring!

You are welcome Lee. I will need to pull the sleds out of the shed this spring to wash and summerize them.

Hey Troy. My wife is already starting to drive me crazy with the "wishing we could be camping" talk
