That's a nice CB radio, I think mine had a bracket for one when we first got it. That or an antenna mount. Either way, we didn't have the radio (or a need for one), so we took all that off.
Oh and I stumbled across this on Youtube...I'm going to post it in the 87-96 forum for the guys over there, since I think they'll like it. I'm going to look and see if I can find any videos like this for the 80-86 trucks.

It's that time of year where it is safe to prepare. Snow is due to come soon, so I have spare gloves and jackets, I keep a blanket under the seat. The Fire Extinguisher is in now, I have tow-straps, tow cables, roadside flares are coming next week.
I am going to mount shovel, ice pick, and some other devices in the bed of my truck over the weekend.
Being ready is always the best idea.
