I also picked up some brushed aluminum rims from a guy for 100 bux. He was glad to get rid of them because nobody uses 16.5" tires and rims anymore. Says who... I like my 16.5's.

16.5 brushed aluminum rims. The lug nuts are some funky lug nut that needs a key for removal and installation.

The rims are wider than the stock steelies. It did something to the stance on the truck that I think makes it sit in a more aggressively.

Oh yeah, I also put a B&M light truck Megashifter T handle shifter in it. I'll send some pics later.

Yeah Grinner. Ol' Ginger followed me home about a year ago. I will post some picks of her soon.

I won one race and got bumped out by a 2017 mustang. Had fun racing my scs. I will do it again in another two weeks. I just have to replace the neutral safety switch in the megatruck shifter I am using in the dragger camper special.

No idea. The track used a flashlight to signal a start. The track billed this as a no prep street outlaw styled event.

Engine rebuild

Nice clean freshly machined engine block.

Fresh Ford corporate blue on the engine block. Now I'm getting ready to put the main bearings in it.

So last fall I fully rebuilt the engine on the old green truck. I had the engine removed I disassembled and cleaned it brought all the parts to my friendly machine shop. They machined all the parts. Sold me a bunch of new parts. I spent about a week putting it all together with assistance from my 14 year old son.
I put a full roller valve train in this Engine. With over length pushrods. A 280 cam. High-volume oil pump Etc...
When I finally put it all together and broke it in, it ran very well.
