Well here it is. Limestone green. I love the color.
I've got some orange peel issues that some may notice. It's a metallic urethane single stage paint. I wish I had gone with 2 stage, then I could wet sand the orange peel out.
Can I put a clear coat over the single stage paint?

Reason: forgot something

Wet sand the paint after it's cured. Then use a slower reducer with a little thinner mix. It should flow out better. You have your mix too thick for the weather and it set up too fast before it had a chance to flatten out.
While I've shot clear over single stage, it was for an effect I was going for on a show car. (mixed stuff into the clear over graphics on the base color) I don't recommend clearing single stage on something that will be used out in the weather. The adhesion won't be great and will eventually separate.
At a point in my project I had to remember that I'm am not a bodyman and this was my first try. So if someone can spot the places where it "aint so good" well good for you. 99% of folks won't see any of the things that you know are there anyway.

Thank you for your help earthquake. What grit would you start out with to wet sand? I have 800 or 1000. I have 2000 grit to finish with. Is that adequate?
The product information does not recommend color sanding metallics. I presume this is because it messes up the alignment of the little metal flakes in the paint.
I also noticed that the mist coat that was recommended in the product description seemed to add lumps and humps to the finish. I may have messed up the mist coat.
I finished the hood and fixed the bunged up quarter panel. While fixing the quarter panel I tested out a part of it by color sanding it and using an abrasive polishing compound. I rather liked the finished product. Sooo I'm planning on color sanding the truck even though I painted a single stage metallic on it.
I adjusted the mix on my paint today -thanks earthquake- and fine tuned the volume on my gun. I also did not have the heat on in my shop. The paint laid out more flat today than yesterday.
I did manage to get three small fisheyes on the hood. I used a toothpick to dab some paint in each fisheye, I hope to get those issues worked out when I color sand the hood. I'm going to wait a day or two for the paint to harden before I start to color sand the truck.
I've been working on the truck most nights. I ended up redoing the hood, and murphy's law took over again. I had a hatch of baby spiders explode in my shop right after I had finished repainting the hood!!! Oh well, on to the next thing. I'll deal with the spider tracks later.
I have turned my attention to the box. I would sure like to find an intact side cover for the spare tire on the passenger side. Mine is pretty skunky and will require some fab work. Does anyone have a source on where I might find one of these in the aftermarket world?
Someone just posted about 2 to 3 months ago about having access to a few of these spare tire doors but cant remember who. post a separate thread about and see who responds.
