on a side note i just have to share. none of you probably know what i do for a living but im an air traffic controller. well tonight i just finished my 2 1/2 year training program and am now a professional controller. the journey has been long and tough and at times a real bitch. im so freaking excited and stoked i cant sleep. im normally in bed sleeping like a baby by an hour ago. gotta love adrenaline! im so relieved though. i would rather bear hug a cactus than go through that again. if any of you have ever seen pushing tin with john cusack and billy bob thornton they nailed the personalities right on the head. there is nobody that will give you a harder time than a coworker and there is nobody that will have your back in a heartbeat than those same guys that put you through hell while you were training. im glad its done. now we get to party.............
Congrats Indy. Do you have a name? You probably have said and I have forgotten. It's hell getting old.
Good morning everyone.
TGIF for sure.
Tomorrow I'm going to Dynomite Diesel Performance and get on the rollers.
Check it out, they are having a grand opening, 1/8 mile drag races at Evergreen Speedway and more.
Ehh..well I've had a night just as delightful as last night.
I took you all's advice and went and got a bug bomb for fleas. Got home, put the animals in the garage, bombed all three floors of the house and had to leave. Had to stay out of the house for 4 hours. In the meantime went to wally and spent MORE money on flea stuff, specifically some good shampoo for the animals. So we get home finally and Randy decides it'd be an awesome idea to give the dog AND the cat a bath at the same time. He throws the cat in the bath, where I already had the dog, and claws go flying, dog freaks out and jumps out and gets water all over the bathroom floor. I get the cat under control, get him washed, but as I was pulling him out, he gets a paw loose and proceeds to pierce my arm in two places and put a nice size gash on my thumb with his very, very sharp claws. It took us about 2 minutes to carefully pry his claws out of my arm. As I sit, my right arm is sore and bruised and it'll be interesting to see what THAT looks like in the morning. One of the claws made an entrance and EXIT through my arm with his claw under my skin.
Got the dog washed. Lots of fleas fell off. I am officially grossed out and wigged out. BTW medicated flea shampoo feels GREAT in an open wound.
Brought the dog crate back inside, found a live tick crawling around on the top of it.
Bout had it with this state and its bazillions of freaky *** bugs.
Have some sort of milti-colored beetle taking over the back yard and killing all of our plants. They weren't there before vacation. I guess it'll give me something to do this weekend. I can spray for bugs. Seems I have no life, I'll just spent all of my free time trying to eradicate some type of insect.
That sound like a lot of fun..........................NOT!!
Hope your arm heals quickly and doesn't hurt too bad.

As for starter pics of truck a few are in garage. Will take more today and especially on sunday when he comes down off the flatbed. I have pondered taking him off myself but all I need is for him to fly down any of the hills and get totaled or get me in trouble with the witch next door. I have a winch on my flatbed but would rather wait for SIL to help me out. left front tire on the next to flat end of the tire spectrum so that will cause issues. The truck fit so tight on flat bed I noticed creases in the doors where I didn't set it right when I loaded it. (I loaded it by myself and actually pushed it on with the excursion, I could never get help when I needed it) so I have to take full responsibility for the creases. Miffs me off.
I know I need new door window glass as the old has bubbled. Not sure how that happens but I will google it and find out. The guys who have been stopping by asking if it is for sale always comment on door locks. You would think if they were familiar with that year they would be familiar with door locks. (they have the little lift door which covers the lock) I have had people calling motel asking about it being for sale. Even had a call about my flatbed. That was too funny. I say no to both.
History is a kewl name. because it is full of just that. It actually is all I have of my history. Well I have the china cabinet my dad made my grandma in wood shop in high school. So both are kewl.
Okay I have rambled enough.
Lisa I know the cat puncture issue well. This was what happened when my SILs dog Patty just walked by one of the kittens (when they were about three months old) and Moon Pie, their momma started smacking crap on Patty. I tried to pull her off of the dog and got nailed literally.
lol! ^^^^ so is that like a tim the tool man taylor walker then?
At least that out of control!!
