Its beautiful today, and I'm inside working. Would rather be outside hiking or fishing or something...except the gnats are really bad lately so maybe not.

I'm not up to much. Just waiting for time to pass until I get to go home for a week late this month and into July.

Hey everyone- kinda funny how I go on ranting about how much it sucks here, so tonight I overhead a Marine on the bus mention a Joe Nichols concert at the soccer stadium (where Saddam's son killed a team for losing a match LOL) so I got off the bus, had to buy a can of snuff 'cause I left mine back at the hooch, and stood there 30 feet from the stage and had a pretty good time. Granted I prefer classic country, but he sung all his hit and some off the new CD. He even sang that song by Merle Haggard "Makeup and Faded blue jeans". I guess he forgot what audience he was singing to when he told us to "hold up a lighter, or a cell phone, or a beer bottle" ?? Hell I got a knife and a gun, but it won't look too good holding either of them up hehe. For a backdrop, they stacked connex boxes (20' shipping containers) 2 by side and 3 high, and hung a big American flag from the top, and 2 high on the sides. I think it was more for protection from mortars than a backdrop, but it looked good. Overall, it was a great show for free and gave me something to do for once. And since everyone's posting temps, today at 6pm it was 108* in the shade, although I didn't see, I would guess about 115 at noon, in the shade.

Yeah. Tough one there. Do you know she's like that or is it just other people just saying that? Just wondering. Sometimes people get pissed at others and start pretty nasty rumors. Just playing devil's advocate here. Talk to your cousin some more and find out what happened there and maybe try to get both sides of the story. May not be quite as bad as you think. Either way Jake, proceed with caution my friend. There are lots of fish in the sea and like you said, you don't want to blackball yourself. Let me know how it goes.
